The Neutralized Defense: When Your Own Lawyer Admits the "Arrest Goal" and Tells You Not to Fight

In the "Tripartite Nexus" of Loudoun County—where school administrators, law enforcement, and private counsel coordinate to silence parents—the most devastating blow doesn't always come from the opposition. Sometimes, it comes from within your own camp.

The Admission In December 2023, as the "Warning Call" from Deputy Iversen was being prepared, I was represented by John Whitbeck. During our discussions regarding the legal billing from Troxell Leigh P.C. (Lindsay Mohler), Whitbeck made a stunning admission. He told me explicitly that the goal of the "Nexus"—the coordinated effort between my ex-wife, her counsel, LCPS, and LCSO—was to have me "charged with a crime and arrested."

The Abandonment Despite having actual knowledge that a private law firm was using government infrastructure to engineer a false arrest, Whitbeck’s response was not to file for sanctions or move for a protective order. Instead, he told me that I had "no right to defend myself" in the case.

The Result: The Iversen Call Four days after the 12/8/23 Rule to Show Cause hearing where my defense was effectively neutralized by my own counsel, the "intent" became reality. On December 12, 2023, Deputy Timothy Iversen conducted the extrajudicial "Warning Call" that is now the subject of a state-level FOIA Council investigation (Case #23).

Conclusion Why would a seasoned attorney ignore a clear conspiracy to abuse the legal system? In Loudoun County, the "Establishment" relies on a culture of compliance. When your own defense is "gatekept," the Campaign of Exhaustion is complete. They didn't just want to win a support case; they wanted to criminalize a whistleblower, and they expected my own representation to help them do it.

The "Information Blackout" didn't just stop at the school doors—it reached into the very legal offices meant to protect my rights.

The story discussed the fact that Principal Nick Cottone of Seneca Ridge Middle School had activated his School Resource Officer to have a special education teacher arrested under suspicion that she was drunk.
